” People need to focus more on their psychological health throughout this pandemic period. Suicide, madness, tension and other such things are the result of psychological depression,” Sudhakar was priced quote as stating by his workplace in a release.
Noting that WHO reports around 7.5 per cent individuals in India are victims of mental anxiety and the nation contributes 15 per cent of worldwide mental illness, he mentioned a survey which said that by 2020, 20 percent of individuals in India would suffer from mental disorder. In view of such elements, people need to prioritise psychological health, he said.
Explaining that Karnataka has a separate psychological health authority, the Minister said over 7.13 lakh people had actually currently availed of individual counselling center.
