Rural women are finding it difficult to gain access to medical professionals during pregnancy or giving birth, the Australian Medical Association of Queensland states.

Dr Giuseppin stated the departure of obstetricians from rural and local areas would lead to medical facility theatres shutting due to the fact that of the drop in births.

” We desire the Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk and the opposition leader to set out clear, well-funded plans for health care throughout the state so citizens can make an informed option at the ballot box,” he said.
